Drecom Co., Ltd. will relocate head office to ThinkPark Tower (Osaki) in June to promote "new ways of working" and improve management efficiency by consolidating group companies
Drecom Co., Ltd. (Head office: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiroki Naito; hereinafter "Drecom") is pleased to announce that it will relocate its head office to ThinkPark Tower (Osaki) in June 2021. In addition to improving productivity by creating an office environment that matches the "new way of working," we will also aim to achieve further growth by consolidating our currently dispersed group companies, thereby improving management efficiency and strengthening cooperation within the group.
In light of the current situation, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for your concern, but we respectfully decline to send flowers and other favors.
Background of Relocation
For some time, Drecom has been reviewing its work style with the aim of improving productivity and creating a diverse work style that suits the lifestyles and life stages of its employees. As a result of our efforts to promote remote work in response to the spread of the new coronavirus infection since last spring, we have decided that remote work is more suitable for the type of work we are aiming for than the current work style, and we have decided to make it our basic work style from now on.
In response to this decision, we have redefined the positioning and functions of our office, and have positioned it as a place where we can concentrate on communication and team building, and a place that complements the aspects that cannot be completed by remote work. We have also decided to change the office to a free-address office and expand the communication space to accommodate the "new way of working".
In addition, as part of our growth strategy, while aiming to expand the Drecom Group through M&A, we have decided to consolidate the currently dispersed offices of each group company to reduce office space and strengthen inter-group collaboration through consolidation, thereby reducing costs and further improving management efficiency.
As a result of discussions to achieve the above, we have decided to relocate to ThinkPark Tower and signed a fixed-term building lease agreement with the World Trade Center Building on March 15, 2021. The relocation is scheduled to be completed by June 2021.
