Drecom Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yuki Naito; hereinafter referred to as Drecom) is pleased to announce that the company is now a full member of The Association of Japanese Animations as of today, April 1, 2026.
Leveraging the expertise we have gained in technology and entertainment, Drecom is committed to contributing to the development of animation culture and the industry.

■Background and Objectives

Drecom began by providing internet services when it was founded in 2001, entered the gaming industry in 2009, and has been involved in the entertainment sector ever since. In recent years, to bring excitement to a wider audience through the provision of entertainment content centered on intellectual property (IP), Drecom has launched publishing and animation businesses in 2022 and are actively working to create and nurture IP. By joining The Association of Japanese Animations as a full member, Drecom aims to leverage our expertise to contribute to the development of animation culture and the industry, as well as the growth of the Japanese entertainment sector as a whole. 

What is the The Association of Japanese Animations?

The Association of Japanese Animations (AJA) is an organization that unites the interests of Japan's animation production industry, maintains collaboration with related companies and organizations, and aims for the sustainable development of the animation industry as a whole. The Association is engaged in the development of new animation production technologies, the collection and dissemination of market information, the creation of various forms of added value, research and implementation of copyright protection, human resource development, as well as cooperation and coordination with other organizations and various joint research projects related to animation. Furthermore, the Association has a proven track record in international exchange, including introducing Japan's animation culture overseas and promoting technical cooperation.
