Drecom Co., Ltd. (Head office: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiroki Naito) announced today that it has decided to create a new smartphone game application for "Wizardry", "Wizardry VA (tentative)".

This title will be the latest in the immortal "Wizardry" RPG series, and will be based on the concept of "your own adventure," inheriting the characteristics of the series while incorporating new elements that will allow more people to enjoy 3D dungeon RPGs.

What is "Wizardry"?

Wizardry is a computer RPG released in the United States in 1981. Its elements such as party organization, exploration of labyrinths, monster battles, and character growth have greatly influenced various RPGs in the future, and it is regarded as one of the founders of RPGs.
It is an immortal masterpiece that has been released in numerous series to this day, and even now, 40 years after it was first released, it still enjoys deep-rooted popularity around the world.
