Wizardry Variants Daphne Half Anniversary Campaign (Part One) is now on!
Drecom Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yuki Naito) is pleased to announce that Wizardry Variants Daphne, the latest 3D dungeon RPG in the Wizardry series, will launch the first half of its Half-Anniversary Campaign beginning Thursday, April 17, 2025 (JST). The campaign includes the release of Featured Adventurers: Legend of the Three Heroes I & II, as well as special login bonuses offering up to 2,000 Gems of Org and Class Change Guidance Certificates [Vol. II]. Additionally, in celebration of the game's six-month milestone and to express our gratitude, 2,000 Gems of Org and 10 Adventurer's Remains are being gifted to all players starting Tuesday, April 15, 2025 (JST).
Featured Adventurers: Three Great Warriors of Legend I & II are here!
■Three Great Warriors of Legend I: Fighter Class General Adventurers
For a limited time, the Three Great Warriors of Legend I: Fighter Class General Adventurers is now available, featuring Legendary Adventurers Gerulf, Alice, and Yekaterina at 2.5%, for a total of 7.5%, making it 1.5 times higher than normal.
*Only Gerulf, Alice, and Yekaterina will appear as Legendary Adventurers from the Three Great Warriors of Legend I.
The Three Great Warriors of Legend I: Fighter Class General Adventurers also features an increased drop rate for fighter class general adventurers, and adventurers with Potential Skill Inheritance will also have a higher drop rate than usual.
*Potential Skill Inheritance is a newly added system for general adventurers. When using the Right Hand of Reversal, there is a chance that a general adventurer with a Potential Skill Inheritance will appear. Please check the in-game notice for full details.

■Archive of Guidance [Vol. II] Missions
These are limited-time missions in which you can obtain special rewards, such as Class Change Guidance Certificate [Vol. II], 2 Class Change Requests, up to 10,000 gold, and more by completing the designated missions and obtaining a certain number of points during the event period.
The Class Change Guidance Certificate [Vol. II] can be exchanged for any Handbook of your choice at the Jeweler Exchange Archive of Guidance [Vol. II].

New features, such as the Compendium and Potential Skill Inheritance added!
■New Compendium Feature Added
A new Compendium feature has been added, where you can view records of characters you have met, equipment collected, monsters defeated, and more.
*The Compendium can be accessed via the log icon at the bottom of the screen.
■New Potential Skill Inheritance Added
Potential Skill Inheritance has been added as new abilities for general adventurers.
These are skills that the same adventurer acquired in a different timeline. Unlike regular skill inheritance, inheriting a Potential Skill Inheritance requires the protagonist to reach a specific rank corresponding to the skill.
*When using the Right Hand of Reversal, there is a chance that a general adventurer with Potential Skill Inheritance will appear. Please see the drop rates screen for more details.
■New Ominous Shadow Investigation Request
"There have been numerous sightings of an ominous dark figure on the third floor of the fortress. To apprehend and identify the intruder, I would like to request the aid of a capable and trustworthy adventurer."
A new request, Expose the Intruder, has been posted at the Adventurer's Guild at Guarda Fortress. Upon accepting, the investigation leads into a hidden room within the fortress...
The above request becomes available after progressing to a certain point in the Guarda Fortress.
Future Update Plans
Here is a look at some of the updates we have planned for the future. We are also planning to introduce various quality-of-life improvements in future patches. Additionally, we will continue adjusting the difficulty and rewards of time-limited quests based on player data to ensure a more enjoyable experience for all.
■Planned May Updates
- New Legendary Adventurer
A new adventurer is set to debut in early May.
- Return of the Old Castle Ruins Event
Thank you for your feedback for the first Old Castle Ruins event held in December 2024. While it took some time, we have made adjustments based on player feedback and the recent additions to the Guarda Fortress, and the Old Castle Ruins event will return for its second run in late May.
- Addition of Requests from Allies
Requests from allies, exploring untold stories of characters from the main story, will be added gradually in future updates. The first installment will feature Elmon.
■Planned Updates for June and Beyond
- Addition of New Classes & Ninja Class for the Masked Adventurer
The Masked Adventurer will gain access to the ninja class, and additional new classes are scheduled to be added in late June. Additionally, we are working on various updates, such as event story quests coinciding with the new class addition.

■ Story

Wizardry Variants Daphne is a 3D dungeon RPG, a completely new addition to the Wizardry series. The game system follows the play cycle of the traditional 3D dungeon RPGs, with players progressing deeper into dungeons called Abyss, by repeatedly getting stronger, resupplying in towns, and battling and collecting items in dungeons. Battles with enemies proceed in a command battle system, and a formation of up to six characters, including the player, can enjoy highly strategic battles that make full use of spells and skills.
