(Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yuki Naito) has released an original rakugo performance titled "Blade & Bastard: Nedoi" featuring rakugo artist Sanyutei Rakuten on the official "Drecom Media" YouTube channel. This commemorates the release of Volume 7 of the popular manga series "Blade & Bastard," a dark fantasy set in the world of the classic RPG "Wizardry," which has surpassed 600,000 copies sold cumulatively.

To commemorate the release of Blade & Bastard Volume 7, we are pleased to present a new rakugo story, "Blade & Bastard: Nedoi," by rakugo artist Sanyutei Rakuten. A huge fan of the Wizardry series himself and a reader of Blade & Bastard, Rakuten has crafted a rakugo overflowing with his love for Blade & Bastard.
Rakuten is also the creator of "TRPG Rakugo," a form of rakugo based on tabletop role-playing games (TRPGs), and is himself an enthusiastic player and GM (Game Master). It was Rakuten's deep understanding of TRPGs and "Wizardry," combined with his unique perspective as both a rakugo performer and GM, that made this project possible.

A member of the 5th Generation Enraku School, he worked as a dancer, dance instructor, and choreographer before joining the school. He also stands out uniquely within the rakugo world as the creator of "TRPG Rakugo," a new genre based on tabletop role-playing games (TRPG). An avid TRPG enthusiast who also serves as a GM (Game Master), he sublimates his knowledge and passion into the world of rakugo through his unique perspective and exceptional storytelling.
Effective April 1, 2026, he will assume the name "Nidaime Sanyutei Koenraku" and is scheduled to be promoted to shin'uchi.
