Drecom Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Yuki Naito) is pleased to announce that the DRE Novels series "Monster Master Girl" (Written by Damu Amato, Illustrated by shirabi) will be adapted into a TV anime. This work is the first to be adapted into a video format as a winner of the "Drecom Media Awards."

Along with this announcement, the teaser visual, main cast, and main staff information have been revealed. Continuing from the promotional video released with the first volume, Manaka Ishimi will play the protagonist Rean, Chiaki Kobayashi will play Hakura, and Akio Otsuka will play Ao. Furthermore, comments have arrived from the original author, Damu Amato, the character designer, shirabi, and Director Chihiro Kumano.

Additionally, a comic adaptation is scheduled to begin serialization in September 2026. To commemorate the anime announcement, a preview version is currently available on the web manga site "DreComi+" ahead of the official serialization. "Monster Master Girl" Gets a TV Anime! Teaser Visual and Main Staff Revealed

"Monster Master Girl" won the Grand Award by unanimous decision of the judges at the 2nd Drecom Media Awards for new novel submissions. A TV anime adaptation has now been decided.
The original novel is a fantasy work about the encounter between Rean, a descendant of a witch with the ability to tame monsters, and her slime companion Ao, with Hakura, an adventurer with the nickname "The Witch Hunter," as they travel while interacting with both monsters and humans.

【Introduction】
The journey of humans, monsters, and the world reflected in green eyes.

There once was a primordial witch named Lingreen who was said to have saved the world.
Her descendant, a young girl named Rean, possessed the ability to tame any monster as "Monster Master Girl."

One day, deep in a quiet forest,
Rean meets Hakura, an adventurer who was struggling between life and death after fighting a vicious monster.
"Do you want to live? Or do you want to find relief?"
Hakura, whose life was saved by her hand, is hired as Rean's bodyguard,
And the two begin their journey together.
However, she is a special person with special powers, and what keeps coming to her are only cases involving troublesome monsters that are not straightforward...

The slightly troublesome and irreplaceable journey with Rean--a confident, selfish, but somehow impossible to ignore little devil--begins now.

I'm Manaka Ishimi, and I'll be playing Rean in "Monster Master Girl." I had the good fortune to be involved in Drecom's original PV for this work. I'm happy to be able to continue in the role for the anime. At first glance, Rean seems confident and cheerful, but she is a reliable character who has a lot of knowledge and the ability to tame monsters. There are many serious themes, but the tempo of the conversations with Hakura and the comical scenes make it a work with plenty of charm to enjoy! I hope you'll look forward to the anime broadcast...!

■Hakura: Chiaki Kobayashi
I'm Chiaki Kobayashi, and I'll be providing the voice for Hakura. As the title suggests, "monsters" act as an important factor in the story of this work. What kind of ecosystem they build and how they relate to humans. And please pay attention to what kind of story Lean and Hakura weave with these monsters. Thank you!

■Ao: Akio Otsuka
I'm Akio Otsuka, and I'll be playing Ao. This is a work I learned about for the first time through the audition, but I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out. I think it falls into the road movie category, which seems to be my favorite. I'm also looking forward to the role itself: a veteran monster who stays close to a young protagonist... How about it?
